Foellinger Auditorium is a unique facility situated as the Southern terminus of the Quadrangle. Since its construction in 1907, Foellinger Auditorium has been as a cultural and entertainment center for the campus by serving two distinctly different functions: classroom and performance. Approximately one-half of the day is devoted to instructional activities as the campus' largest lecture hall. Frequently, the Auditorium is also the site of many student productions, lectures, and modest commercial performances. The Office of Facility Management and Scheduling provides the management of the Auditorium, including assistance to instructors, production assistance to student groups and support for the various activities held here.
The purpose of Foellinger Auditorium is to provide technical support and event management assistance to University student organizations, academic/administrative departments & the Champaign-Urbana community through knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will maintain the historic quality of this facility through effective and efficient management and support the overall mission of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
